Encrypted secret disclosure via unredacted agent configuration
Published Mar 5, 2025 · Updated Mar 6, 2025
Information disclosure in Jenkins 2.499 and earlier and LTS 2.492.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read encrypted agent secrets. Computer.doConfigDotXml and GetNodeCommand serialize agent configuration directly without applying ExtendedReadRedaction. Agent/Extended Read permission is sufficient; exposed values remain encrypted, and public evidence does not establish plaintext recovery.
