CVE-2025-27609

Session actions via reflected script injection

Published Mar 26, 2025 · Updated Mar 26, 2025

Reflected XSS in Icinga Web 2 before 2.11.5 and 2.12.0 through 2.12.2 allows attackers to run JavaScript in a victim's session. A crafted request reflects attacker-controlled content into the victim's Icinga Web response without neutralizing script-capable input; the advisory does not identify the endpoint or parameter. The request must reach a victim, and exploitation depends on ineffective browser CORS protection or an ineffective content security policy; successful execution acts with the victim's privileges.
