Code execution via XWD allocation integer overflow

Integer overflow in GIMP 2.10.38 allows remote attackers to execute code in the current process by inducing a user to open an XWD file. The XWD parser uses unvalidated file-supplied values in buffer-size arithmetic, allowing the calculation to wrap before allocation. Execution requires interaction with a crafted file or malicious page and runs with the privileges of the GIMP process.
