Stored script execution via Print Name injection
Published Mar 3, 2025 · Updated Mar 4, 2025
Stored XSS in Serosoft Academia SIS EagleR 1.0.118 allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts via the Print Name field. The /rest/staffResource/update endpoint stores a crafted Print Name value that later renders as executable HTML or script rather than neutralized text. Low-privileged access is required to submit the value, and another user must view the affected content; execution occurs in that user's browser.
