SYSTEM escalation via restored kiosk print function
Published Jul 14, 2025 · Updated Jul 14, 2025
Privilege escalation in One Identity Password Manager before 5.14.4 allows local users to gain SYSTEM access from a locked workstation. The Secure Password Extension kiosk replaces window.print(), but a crafted Help page restores it and opens a SYSTEM-privileged print dialog. Physical access to a locked Windows workstation is required; the dialog can launch a command prompt with full device control.
