CVE-2025-27558Public exploit

Frame injection via unauthenticated A-MSDU flag

Published May 21, 2025 · Updated Nov 3, 2025

Frame-injection flaw in IEEE P802.11-REVme D1.1 through D7.0 allows physically proximate attackers to inject arbitrary frames. The mesh A-MSDU defense trusts an unauthenticated QoS Control flag and checks the wrong destination offset after mesh-header parsing. A radio-range attacker can flip the A-MSDU Present bit when the receiver accepts non-SPP A-MSDUs, causing protected mesh traffic to be reparsed as attacker-controlled Layer 2 frames.
