Application crash via unchecked AC3D vertex index

Out-of-bounds read in Assimp 5.4.3 allows remote attackers to crash applications that import a crafted AC3D file. AC3DImporter::ConvertObjectSection uses an unvalidated src.entries index to read object.vertices beyond the allocated vector. Exploitation requires a victim or consuming service to process the malformed file; the published proof demonstrates a segmentation fault, not code execution.
