CVE-2025-27535

Privileged denial of service via exposed ioctl

Published Feb 10, 2026 · Updated Feb 10, 2026

Insufficient access control in Intel E825-C firmware before NVM 3.84 allows local users to interrupt Ethernet availability. The firmware exposes an unnamed ioctl without sufficient access control; Intel has not disclosed the request operation or malformed state that causes the failure. Exploitation requires privileged system software, local access, high complexity, additional attack requirements, and no user interaction; the reported consequence is limited to availability.
