Unauthenticated code execution via exposed base members
Published Mar 5, 2025 · Updated Mar 5, 2025
Improper input validation in Livewire Volt before 1.7.0 allows remote attackers to execute code via crafted component requests. Livewire's BaseUtils reflection filters treated public methods and properties declared by the Volt base component as application-defined members, exposing them to request-driven hydration and invocation. No authentication or user interaction is required, and successful exploitation grants code execution in the Laravel application's PHP process.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
