Stored XSS via unescaped image-tag regular expression
Published Jul 29, 2025 · Updated Jul 29, 2025
Stored XSS in GLPI 9.5.0 through 10.0.18 allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts in a Kanban viewer's browser. Ticket::convertContentForTicket uses attacker-controlled file-data text directly as a regular expression while rewriting image tags, rather than quoting regex metacharacters. Technician privileges are required to store the payload, and another user must view the affected project Kanban; the resulting script runs in that viewer's session.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
