CVE-2025-27494Network attack vector

Root command execution via unsanitized REST pubkey input

Published Mar 11, 2025 · Updated Mar 11, 2025

Command injection in Siemens SiPass integrated ACC controllers before 6.4.9 allows remote authenticated users to execute commands as root. The pubkey REST API endpoint passes improperly sanitized input into arbitrary commands that run with root privileges. Administrator authentication is required, and successful injection grants full command execution on the controller.
