CVE-2025-27493

Administrator-to-root escalation via telnet command injection

Published Mar 11, 2025 · Updated Mar 11, 2025

Command injection in Siemens SiPass integrated AC5102 (ACC-G2) and ACC-AP before 6.4.9 allows local users to execute commands as root. Specific telnet command handlers improperly sanitize administrator-supplied input before passing it to privileged command execution. Access requires an authenticated local administrator session; successful injection grants root-level control over the controller and its data.
