CVE-2025-27460

Physical file read and write via unencrypted drives

Published Jul 3, 2025 · Updated Jul 3, 2025

Cleartext disk storage in Endress+Hauser MEAC300-FNADE4 all versions allows physically proximate attackers to read or write every file. The device leaves its hard drives without full-volume encryption, so booting an alternative operating system bypasses the Windows login and exposes the files directly. Physical access to the device is required, and the resulting direct disk access permits unrestricted file reading and modification.
