Authenticated data access via unchecked transaction
Published Apr 8, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2025
Missing authorization in the SAP NetWeaver AS ABAP Virus Scan Interface allows remote authenticated users to read non-sensitive data. The transaction entry point accepts a non-administrative session and starts the operation without the additional authorization check intended to gate it. A valid non-administrative account is required; successful use is limited to viewing non-sensitive data and cannot modify data or interrupt availability.
