Authenticated file disclosure via unchecked RFC paths
Published Apr 8, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2025
Directory traversal in SAP Service Data Collection 2008_1_700, 2008_1_710, and 740 allows remote authenticated users to read files. An unnamed RFC-enabled function module accepts attacker-controlled path input without confining access to intended directories, exposing files on connected managed systems. Access requires authorization to call the module; successful exploitation discloses file contents without altering data or interrupting service.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
