Unauthenticated browser script execution via unencoded descriptions
Published Mar 3, 2025 · Updated Mar 4, 2025
Stored XSS in WeGIA before 3.2.16 allows remote attackers to execute scripts in users' browsers through a crafted descricao value. The atendido_parentesco_adicionar.php handler trims and stores descricao without neutralizing markup, and Profile_Atendido.php inserts the saved value into an option element without HTML encoding. Submission is reachable without a valid session because redirect paths did not terminate execution, while impact requires a user to open the affected profile page.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
