CVE-2025-27415Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Site denial of service via CDN cache poisoning

Published Mar 19, 2025 · Updated Mar 19, 2025

Cache poisoning in Nuxt before 3.16.0 allows remote attackers to interrupt site availability via a crafted payload request. Nuxt interprets /?/_payload.json as a payload request and renders JSON, while a CDN that ignores query strings can cache it for the page route. The attack requires that CDN cache-key behavior; repeated requests at each cache interval can keep later visitors from receiving the site.
