DOM-based XSS in Icinga Web 2 before 2.11.5 and 2.12.0 through 2.12.2 allows attackers to execute JavaScript via a crafted URL. The vendor has not published the DOM source or sink; it states only that visiting the crafted URL embeds arbitrary JavaScript into Icinga Web. The vendor assessment requires high-privileged attacker access and a user visit, after which the script can act with that user's session authority.
