Credential disclosure via unredacted debug logging
Published Apr 9, 2025 · Updated Apr 9, 2025
Sensitive-data exposure in Apache ActiveMQ Artemis 1.5.1 through 2.39.0 allows local users to read broker secrets from debug logs. ConfigurationImpl serializes every broker property value at DEBUG level without redacting password-bearing fields. Exploitation requires DEBUG logging and access to broker logs, exposing configured credentials without altering broker data or availability.
