Stored XSS via forged settings update
Published Feb 24, 2025 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Cross-site request forgery in Blighty Explorer 2.3.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to store scripts via a forged settings request. The settings-update handler accepts a state-changing request without valid nonce verification and persists attacker-supplied script content. Exploitation requires an administrator to interact with the forged request; stored scripts then execute in visitors' browser sessions.
