Device control via networkSetup command injection
Published Mar 25, 2025 · Updated Apr 11, 2025
Command injection in H3C Magic routers through affected firmware allows remote authenticated users to control devices via crafted requests. The /api/wizard/networkSetup HTTP POST handler fails to neutralize attacker-controlled request data before command processing. Access requires wired or wireless LAN connectivity; successful exploitation grants device control and can interrupt the network.
