Authenticated code execution via local file inclusion
Published Feb 24, 2025 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Local file inclusion in Vinagecko VG PostCarousel 1.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute uploaded PHP files. The disclosed mechanism passes an attacker-controlled filename to a PHP include/require operation; the affected parameter and code location are not public. Contributor-level WordPress access is required, and code execution requires a PHP file that the server can be caused to include.
