Local privilege escalation via hard-coded database password

Hard-coded credentials in GE Vernova EnerVista UR Setup 8.42 allow local users to bypass authentication and gain elevated access. The application encrypts its local user database with a password embedded in the program, allowing code inspection to recover the password and unlock stored account data. Local access to the application files is required; successful exploitation bypasses software authentication and permits privilege escalation.
