Authenticated user-field disclosure via unauthorized API search
Published Oct 3, 2025 · Updated Oct 3, 2025
Incorrect authorization in affected Zabbix Frontend releases allows remote authenticated users to read restricted fields of users in their group. The user.get API method searches selected user fields even when the caller cannot view them, turning match results from repeated queries into a value oracle. A regular account and a same-group peer are required in 6.0.38 through 6.0.40, 7.0.9 through 7.0.16, 7.2.3 through 7.2.10, and 7.4.0; no data modification is reported.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
