Unauthenticated code execution via traversable upload path
Published Oct 27, 2025 · Updated Oct 27, 2025
Path traversal in Rocket Software TRUfusion Enterprise 7.10.4.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via file upload. The /trufusionPortal/fileupload endpoint builds a destination path from the token and file parameters without removing traversal sequences from token. No authentication is required; a crafted GZIP request body can place attacker-controlled content in any location writable by the TRUfusion service account, including the web portal's JSP directory.
