Sensitive memory disclosure via out-of-bounds file read
Published Apr 8, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2025
Out-of-bounds read in Adobe Animate 24.0.7, 23.0.10 and earlier allows attackers to disclose sensitive memory via a malicious file. Adobe has not published the parser component, malformed file field, or exact bounds-checking failure that permits the read beyond allocated memory. Exploitation requires a victim to open the crafted file, and the disclosed memory can assist bypass of mitigations such as ASLR.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
