CVE-2025-27137Public exploit

Local file disclosure via Pebble include tag

Published Feb 24, 2025 · Updated Feb 25, 2025

Local file inclusion in OWASP Dependency-Track before 4.12.6 allows remote authenticated users to disclose sensitive server files. The custom notification-template renderer passes attacker-controlled include paths to Pebble literal templates, which resolve absolute paths and insert readable file contents into notification output. Exploitation requires SYSTEM_CONFIGURATION permission, granted by default only to Administrators, plus a notification rule that sends output to an attacker-controlled destination.
