CVE-2025-27112Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Read-only data exposure via nonexistent-user authentication

Published Feb 24, 2025 · Updated Feb 24, 2025

Authentication bypass in the Subsonic API in Navidrome 0.52.0 through 0.54.4 allows remote attackers to read server data. The authentication middleware continues after FindByUsername returns ErrNotFound and validates a zero-value user whose password field is empty against the supplied salted MD5 token. No credentials or user interaction are required; successful requests can read playlists and other endpoint data, while write operations are denied.
