Authenticated file read via encoded JDBC parameters
Published Mar 13, 2025 · Updated Mar 13, 2025
Arbitrary file read in FIT2CLOUD DataEase before 2.10.6 allows remote authenticated users to disclose server files through MySQL JDBC URLs. Mysql.getJdbc checks the raw JDBC URL for blocked parameters without URL-decoding it, so percent-encoded allowLoadLocalInfile options bypass the filter. Any authenticated account that can create the background MySQL connection can make the server read an arbitrary file, including /etc/passwd.
