Authenticated arbitrary file write via upload path concatenation
Published Mar 24, 2025 · Updated Mar 24, 2025
Path traversal in RuoYi-Vue Pro 2.4.1 allows remote authenticated users to write files outside the configured upload directory. The backend file upload endpoint accepts a multipart path field and concatenates it into the storage path without restricting parent-directory segments. A valid administrative bearer token and local-disk storage are required; crafted ../ segments can overwrite any file writable by the service account.
