CVE-2025-27079

Authenticated command execution via arbitrary file creation

Published Apr 8, 2025 · Updated Feb 26, 2026

Arbitrary file creation in the ArubaOS 10 AP CLI allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary operating system commands. The CLI file-creation process accepts an attacker-directed file operation that causes supplied content to reach operating system command execution; HPE has not disclosed the file path, command, or parsing error involved. Access to the authenticated CLI with high privileges is required, and successful exploitation permits command execution that can compromise the device.
