Trusted-environment compromise via out-of-range SCM pointer

Memory corruption in Qualcomm Snapdragon TZ firmware allows local users with low privileges to compromise protected code and data via an SCM call. The firmware applies an out-of-range pointer offset while performing the call; Qualcomm has not disclosed the responsible function or pointer arithmetic. Low-privileged local code is required, and successful exploitation crosses the TrustZone boundary to corrupt protected memory and compromise the trusted execution environment.
