Local memory corruption via double-free command handling
Published Jul 8, 2025 · Updated Jul 8, 2025
Double-free memory corruption in Qualcomm Snapdragon WLAN Host allows local users to corrupt memory via crafted command messages. The host frees the same allocation twice while processing a WLAN command message; Qualcomm has not identified the function, allocation, or controllable message fields. Low-privileged local access is required, and successful exploitation can affect data confidentiality, integrity, and service availability.
