CVE-2025-27033

Local memory disclosure via video buffer over-read

Published Sep 24, 2025 · Updated Sep 24, 2025

Buffer over-read in Qualcomm Snapdragon video firmware allows local users with low privileges to disclose device memory. Qualcomm identifies rogue firmware during a video use case as the trigger but has not published the affected video component or the unchecked buffer operation. Exploitation requires local low-privileged access and rogue firmware, exposing memory contents and potentially interrupting video processing.
