Management lockout via unconfirmed CLI deactivation
Published Jul 2, 2025 · Updated Jul 2, 2025
Access-control flaw in Infinera GX G42 6.1.3 and later before 8.0 allows remote authenticated users to interrupt management access. The WebGUI's CLI-deactivation control disables the CLI, Linux shell, WebGUI, and physical serial console together and performs no confirmation check. Administrator privileges and WebGUI access are required; triggering the control can remove every documented management path and cause complete loss of device control.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
