OS file disclosure via missing SFTP chroot
Published Jul 2, 2025 · Updated Jul 2, 2025
Improper filesystem isolation in Infinera GX G42 6.1.3 allows remote authenticated users to read OS files through SFTP. The SFTP service accepts Network Administrator credentials used for SSH CLI access but fails to confine the session to its intended chroot directory. Network Administrator profile membership is required, and disclosed access remains bounded by the underlying OS file permissions.
