Authenticated file disclosure via script-file error handling
Published Jul 2, 2025 · Updated Jul 2, 2025
Improper input validation in Infinera GX G42 6.1.3 allows remote authenticated users to read all OS files through the WebGUI CLI. When the WebGUI CLI's script-file feature receives a non-script or invalid file path, the privileged HTTP service returns that file's contents with an error. An authenticated management account and network access to the HTTPS WebGUI are required; disclosure is limited to files readable by the service's privileged account.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
