Credential disclosure in Apache NiFi 1.13.0 through 2.2.0 allows remote authenticated users to read MongoDB credentials in provenance events. MongoDBControllerService.getURI inserts separately configured usernames and passwords into the connection URI, which processors copy into provenance transitUri fields. Exploitation requires a MongoDB component to process data and an account authorized to read its provenance events; exposed credentials grant the database access assigned to that account.
