Contributor-level stored XSS via unsafe block rendering
Published Apr 15, 2025 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Stored XSS in SKT Themes SKT Blocks 1.8 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts via crafted block content. The Post Grid and Post Carousel blocks store contributor-supplied content without sufficient input sanitization or output escaping, then render it in pages. Contributor-level access is required to inject the payload, and a victim must view an affected page for the script to run in the site's browser context.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
