CVE-2025-26996Network attack vector

Unauthenticated shortcode execution via unvalidated form value

Published Apr 15, 2025 · Updated Apr 28, 2026

Code injection in Fetch Designs Sign-up Sheets 2.3.0.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary WordPress shortcodes. The public sign-up form passes an insufficiently validated user-controlled value to do_shortcode(), causing WordPress to interpret it as shortcode markup. No account or user interaction is required; execution is limited to shortcodes registered on the target site, enabling unauthorized content and data actions exposed by those handlers.
