Contributor-level data extraction via unprepared shortcode query
Published Feb 25, 2025 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
SQL injection in PickPlugins Wishlist 1.0.41 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read database data through a shortcode parameter. The wishlist_count_by_post shortcode inserts its user-supplied id parameter into an existing SQL query without sufficient escaping or preparation. Contributor-level WordPress access is required, and successful exploitation exposes sensitive information returned by attacker-modified database queries.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
