Settings modification via missing AJAX nonce validation
Published Mar 15, 2025 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Cross-site request forgery in Recapture for WooCommerce 1.0.43 and earlier allows remote attackers to change plugin settings. Several AJAX handlers accept state-changing requests without validating a WordPress nonce. Exploitation requires an authenticated site administrator to follow an attacker-controlled link, after which the forged request runs with the administrator's session.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
