CVE-2025-26876Network attack vector

Administrator path traversal via log path creation

Published Feb 25, 2025 · Updated Apr 28, 2026

Path traversal in CodeManas Search with Typesense 2.0.8 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to create paths outside its log directory. The log file and folder creation flow accepts a path component without first reducing it to a basename, so traversal sequences escape the intended directory. Administrator-level WordPress access is required; public sources identify no affected request parameter or consequence beyond filesystem path traversal.
