Arbitrary code execution via DLL search hijacking
Published Oct 15, 2025 · Updated Oct 15, 2025
Uncontrolled DLL search in RSUPPORT RemoteCall before 5.3.0 allows local users to execute arbitrary code by planting a crafted DLL. The operator Agent loads a crafted DLL placed beside its executable because its library search path includes that uncontrolled location. Exploitation requires the DLL to be placed in that folder and a user to launch the affected Agent; code runs in the Agent's security context.
