Authorization bypass in IBM Db2 and Db2 Warehouse 4.8, 5.0, 5.1, 5.2, and 5.3 allows remote authenticated users to exceed authority. The disclosed locus is Db2U token validation, but IBM has not identified which token property or certificate check is improperly accepted. A high-privilege account and network access are required; successful use enables unauthorized operations, sensitive-information access, and limited service interruption.
