Authenticated script execution via insufficient output encoding
Published May 13, 2025 · Updated Nov 7, 2025
Cross-site scripting in SAP Data Services Management Console 4.3 allows remote authenticated users to execute script in a victim's browser. The console insufficiently encodes user-controlled input embedded in a compromised link, so the browser interprets the supplied payload as script. Exploitation requires low-privileged access, high-complexity payload delivery, and a logged-in victim to click the link; execution can expose or alter browser-session data but does not interrupt service.
