CVE-2025-26659Network attack vector

DOM-based XSS via insufficient WEBGUI input encoding

Published Mar 11, 2025 · Updated Mar 11, 2025

DOM-based XSS in SAP NetWeaver Application Server ABAP allows remote attackers to execute JavaScript through WEBGUI. WEBGUI insufficiently encodes user-controlled content before DOM processing, but SAP does not identify the affected parameter or browser-side sink. Exploitation requires a victim to open a crafted web message; successful execution can expose browser-accessible data or alter displayed content without interrupting service.
