Privilege escalation via writable temporary installer paths

Command injection in Microsoft Azure Arc 1.0.0 through 1.0.9 allows local users to execute code with elevated privileges. The installer scripts copy or download payloads into user-writable temporary directories and then execute those paths without ensuring the privileged process received the intended file. A low-privileged foothold and a privileged installation, GPO refresh, or agent update are required; successful replacement runs attacker-controlled code as root or NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM.
