Unauthenticated remote code execution via backup filename
Published Feb 18, 2025 · Updated Feb 18, 2025
OS command injection in WeGIA before 3.2.14 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code through a crafted backup filename. The gerenciar_backup.php endpoint interpolates the POST file parameter into a shell_exec command without validation or shell escaping. A missing termination after the session redirect leaves the command path reachable without authentication, granting command execution with the web server's privileges.
