Privilege escalation via replayed freed-device events

Use-after-free in X.Org and Xwayland on Red Hat Enterprise Linux allows local users to execute code as root via queued device events. PlayReleasedEvents retains events referencing a frozen device after removal frees its object, then dereferences the stale object during replay. Exploitation requires low-privileged local code execution and can grant the X server's root context without user interaction.
